Obsession, fear, and resistance are invisible forces. Most people are possesed with these suffer through life and think it’s just normal, but it’s not.
The problem is, when fear drives you, it’s like wearing tinted glasses, you see the situation wrongly as a threat. Every setback looks 100 times darker than what it really is. You start believing that every action must immediately fix something, or else disaster is coming.
So, when you’re stuck in that loop, message, regret, panic, it’s that unconscious fear taking over.
Here’s what to do:
Whatever is supposed to happen, WILL happen. The ore you resist it the harder it gets and the more you pain. My go to approach is "send the message and fuck it, if it works it works, if not fuck it"...
When you feel regret, stop everything, name it: “This is my fear talking.”
Your fear is not the truth. It only exists in your head.
You have done well. No need to do anything else.
Shift focus, get up move don't overthink it.
Remind yourself, the outcome isn’t in your control and its silly to want to control it.
Repeat whenever fear or regret returns. Over time, these steps train you to stay calm. The more you do this, the more you’ll see that fear and regret were never you, they were just patterns you can break.
