"In sickness and in health" is roughly 900 years old... Read this. It's important.
Some of the most important beliefs you grew up with are hurting you. You inherit them without question, then spend years paying the price while nobody takes responsibility for the consequences of the damages done to your life.
For example in Europe and the US, drinking and vaping is normal. Alcohol doesn't just kill people. It destroys love, families, and hope. It has ruined more lives, families, and dreams than wars.
For many guys, life's deepest scars come from a woman. Not because women are bad. But because men are misled into relationships and get stuck because they just don't know!
Some rules expire but people still act as if they are fresh and actively practise them!
For example "in sickness and in health" is roughly 900 years old.
I'm in Europe right now. Traveling between countries is common, and I've met several women who spend weekends in places like Saint-Tropez. Come back on Monday and leave again the week after. Rinse and repeat throughout her 20s, then meet someone new and, a few months later, stand at the altar promising "in sickness and in health." There's an American version of this too.
Back 900 years ago there was no Instagram and dating apps, casual sex was heavily discouraged by both social norms and the Church in most of medieval Europe, a direct sexual proposition could seriously damage a woman's reputation and, in some cases, lead to social or legal consequences. People lived in small, close-knit communities where privacy was limited. Most courtship was expected to be aimed toward marriage rather than casual sex.
Today, one person can interact with thousands through work, travel, social media, and dating apps. Technology. Dating apps, Instagram, and messaging make it easy to contact strangers. Someone can receive attention from people they would never have met historically.
Don't just sign up for something because everyone else is doing it. I watch great men lose everything because all they wanted was a happy family.
The better you understand these dynamics, the stronger your relationship will be.
Invest your energy in becoming emotionally strong and independent, financially rich, and physically strong and don't lose yourself. I now it's tricky to love her and stay detached.
Here is the plan
1 - Get ready for a relationship
2 - Find the right woman
3 - Set boundaries
4 - Give her unconditional love until its time runs out. It can be 1 night or 50 years.
5 - Don't become emotionally dependent on her.
